Practical & tidy unit in a beautiful garden. A wide array of facilities such as: central heating, a work desk, and a TV set. All in all super setting just off restaurant, Germany and the magic old centre of Alsfeld. Also, in the Old Town.

Free internet available in the lounge. It looks like the hotel is not 100% non-smoking, because I was first checked in a smoking room. (They gave me immediately another room) So as an advice for other visitors: if you want a non-smoking room (or smoking room) it is better to request it in advance.

Close to the city center, and fairly large rooms.
Everything in the hotel was quite dated. The hotel had a rotary telephone. Seriously - a rotary telephone? We had fun seeing if my children could tell what it was, then teaching them how to use it. Everything in the hotel was really quite old, but it was sufficient for one night.

great location but lacking some comfort
The location offers easy access to the motorway without excessive noise. I appreciated the friendly staff accommodating my late dinner request at the nearby Italian restaurant after my long drive.
The room's amenities could use improvement.

The staff was great. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and the restaurant very cozy. We enjoyed our stay, and will use this hotel again next time we drive to france.

I enjoyed the large walk-in shower and comfortable bed with ample space for my gear as a motorcyclist. The hotel also has a convenient location that makes it easy to explore nearby attractions.

Good location in unheralded but delightful small town - a good centre for touring by car (car park on site)
The room was on the top floor and was somewhat cramped compared with other hotels we stayed in in the same price range.

Quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff. We stopped here as we were travelling east. Good location, was able to park on the street. Nice bar and restaurant.

Location, easy access to the old town. Parking close-by. Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly but not always tuned in when help would have been useful, such as when leaving the hotel with heavy luggage by myself. Staff did not open the door never mind offer to help with the loading into the car. Being a 65 year old woman traveling by myself I would have appreciated the help. However, on the positive side, the staff person on duty when I arrived offered and carried my luggage to the first floor, since no elevator was available. Thank you!
